You have found your ideal contemporary cottage nestled in the Lakeland hills. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet of a residential cul-de-sac in the heart of Windermere village, which also brings easy access to numerous restaurants and cafes just around the corner. We recommend that you book restaurants early to avoid disappointment.
You can stroll 60 metres to the closest Italian restaurant and feast on pizzas from a wood burning oven. If you prefer to cook, there is the choice of a Coop and Morrisons within a 300m walk. There’s also a large Booths supermarket and the Lakeland store (famous for its kitchen gadgets) 500 metres from your front door.
Vehicles & Transport
You will have use of a visitors’ parking permit for the duration of your stay. There are two secure stone built outbuildings; one for storage of bicycles and your outdoor gear, the other equipped as a neat utility room with washer/dryer. There is a fenced area between the cottage and the outhouses to stop those with tiny feet toddling away. The cottage is an ideal base if you arrived via train, with the station just 500m away. The Lakeland transport links from here are good if you are without your own car.
